CAROL NASH MCN MOTORCYCLE SHOW 2018

A sneaky surprise, I wasn’t expecting to attend the Carol Nash MCN London Motorcycle show but thanks to Nick who offered me the tickets I visited on the Saturday with my brother.

A few changes this year meant the classic bikes and tool fair all muddled together and there was a gorgeous deep red BSA star fire which would have had my name on if a/it was still for sale b/if I had more than £20 in my pocket.

The custom bikes this year were by arranged around the “Built Magazine” stand which is a magazine for handcrafted custom motorcycles and the lifestyle that surrounds them a little more on the tracker and brat style but still some cool customs. Including Rocket Bobs “Swamp thing” which I have no idea how they change gear on and a fab Digger in yellow, I loved the BMW Racer too so clean.

On the stands I was rather taken by the Lexmoto bikes they are rather smart and well-priced for small bikes, have to say nothing much else grabbed me as many of the stands just the same. This could be just I have done too many shows recently though or I was following brother and he avoided most as he wanted to shop for luggage. My brother enjoyed the show and also likes to remind me my legs are too short for many of the bikes as well when I looked at them.
